Meet Dr. Sheila Kaushik
Dr. Sheila Kaushik is a board-certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry based in New York City. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Drexel University in Philadelphia and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating both programs with honors. She completed her pediatric dental training at New York University and Bellevue Hospital.
She is a compassionate and dedicated provider with a passion for serving her community and providing exceptional care to all children, regardless of their background or needs. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice, having volunteered extensively both domestically and internationally, including providing dental care in underserved communities of Virginia, educating New York public school students on oral health, and participating in global outreach initiatives.
Dr. Kaushik is particularly passionate about treating patients with special needs. She firmly believes that every child deserves access to high-quality dental care, and she is committed to providing a comfortable experience for all her patients. Her expertise in behavioral management techniques helps ease the anxiety that many children experience at the dentist, ensuring that every visit is a positive and productive one.
